I watched the Kerry speech last night and was pleasantly surprised at how well he did. I have always intended to vote for the man if for no other reason than he was an alternative to the current administration. But he gave me some far more valid reasons and for that I'm glad. I have some very strong opinions about social policy but I'm not a very political person and I don't talk about it often. I do think that due to the current state of America's foreign and domestic affairs everyone that is of voting age should educate themselves for the upcoming election and register to vote and then of course VOTE.

I get really creeped out every once in a while when I am reminded that I am an adult. I then have to rush off immediately and do something childish or read some fanfic or watch something terribly goofy on tv. It still blows me away that I am a self sufficient person that can pay her own bills and live on her own and pull off what I pull off at work. Huh, how did I get here? Of course I also have a guest room with Nsync swag, LOTR calenders and Buffy figurines. Not too adult then.

I intend to go and see Joe Firstman tonight, however, I'm falling asleep in my desk chair and that doesn't bode well for my energy level later tonight. Hmmm... I guess we'll just have to see.
