Oct. 11th, 2004 03:33 pmI'm back from the 'Big Easy'. It was wet and fun. Nobody was expecting the tropical storm but at least it wasn't serious enough for them to evacuate.
I haven't been on the internet at all since Thursday! I've been having withdrawal symptoms. I'm scared to look at how many emails I have. And skip=5678403287 on the flist. Hopefully I'll have some pics to post later. Right now I've got to unpack and figure out what is edible in my kitchen.
First time in New Orleans was great. Got to see and do quite a bit even thought it was pouring rain most of the time. Got caught right in the middle of a gay pride parade on Bourbon street. Very fun. Pretty little gay boys wearing next to nothing riding on floats and waving to the crowd of very confused drunk football fans. (Saints vs Buccaneers) Go Bucs!
So, what did I miss?
