It's not Christmas and I wasn't dreaming of a white Groundhog's Day

It took me almost 2 hours to get home yesterday. bleh! My little Saab is made for wintry weather but it's all those other idiots out there that make me really nervous. We got 3 inches of snow and I'm not amused. I did manage to get into work this morning. An hour late. But I'm here. Whoo hoo. 

The good news is that John Mayer is a trooper and is still doing the concert tonight. yay! The question becomes whether or not I can make it home after the concert or if I have to crash at a friends house. I live about 20 miles away. Hmmm....

My furnace guy came and did some work at my house yesterday and somehow managed to turn off the pilot light to my hot water heater. After a lukewarm shower this morning I got it relit.  Thanks furnace guy. You may be cute but not cute enough for cold showers.

New job is going gangbusters. I'm over halfway through my second week and ass deep in projects. It's a little intimidating but I'm not bored.

Speaking of new job I must actually accomplish something today since I actually made it in to work.  My guilty conscience wouldn't let me take a snow day from work but still go to the John Mayer concert. Maybe I need less scruples. I'll work on that.
