I'm a little blown away
Nov. 14th, 2007 08:24 am OK, so I admit that I watch a little WWE wrestling on Monday nights. The boy got me totally addicted to the very stupid story lines. But anyway there was a big contraversy over the recent death of a wrestler Chris Benoit. CNN has done a large report on the issue, they interviewed John Cena and asked him several questions about steriods and if he had ever used performance enhancing drugs. He was very adament that he had never used steriods however the final edit of the report that was put on CNN made his answer look ambiguous and that he was uncomfortable with the question. The rub is that the WWE had camaras on Cena during the question as well. Cena's actual response was almost 3 minutes long. CNN's version of the response was about 20 seconds and was completely edited to get the point that they wanted.
Check this out. It shows the unedited version and the edited version.
This really calls a lot of reports that CNN does in to question. If they do this over something so minor as steriod use what else are they editing the truth out of?
