I am still alive and kicking. Unfortunately I've been doing a lot of kicking and not enough LJing. I guess I haven't managed to post since October. Yikes. But work decided to get really nasty and then I've been traveling pretty constantly since mid October.
I've been to Vegas, Chicago, St Louis, Nashville, Springfield for Thanksgiving really briefly and now I'm in Latrobe Pennsylvania. This is my first trip to PA and it really is a beautiful state even though it is incredibly cold *brr* and I think I'm alergic to the whole state. I have had a headache and a runny nose since we landed in Pittburgh. I'm actually headed back home tonight only to turn around in a week and go back to St Louis for a weekend and then I just have to wait until Christmas Eve to fly to Maui for a week. That is the trip that I've been waiting for.
In the meantime I have managed to see Wicked, which was absolutely wonderful. I actually did catch the latest Harry Potter (there needs to be more Fred and George fic, a lot more) but I haven't gotten round to Rent yet. I will, I swear because what could be better that Adam Pascal on a big screen? Really?
I hope that everyone is well and I promise I will try to catch up as I can with the flist. There may be some job angst to follow in the next few weeks but I think it will be turmoil of the good kind. Who knows.....
oooh and I get to break out the Christmas icon again... yay!
