Good news and Iffy news

First off the good. I got a raise today!  Nothing major but enough to make a noticable difference in my paycheck. It was a nice pat on the back considering the hell I have been in for the last few months.

The iffy. My manager, while he was telling me about the raise, wanted to inform me that my personal skills need some work. Which I know.  So I'm working on it. But the reason he wants me to improve is because they are looking at me for more advanced positions. Which is great, I think.

I'm sarcastic, moody and spend a lot of time with cars and computers. This does not lead to great communication skills.  I also lead 3 meetings a week in my current position so if they have a hug problem with how I've been doing that they should have told me sooner.

Now if I can just make it to the weekend I will rejoice with napping and no wild trips to St Louis. Oooh and maybe a new pair of shoes cause a girl can never have too many shoes and now I have a little extra cash just for them.
