mmmkay, to catch up. Concert on Friday night was fantastic but we were over an hour late. Traffic was unbelievable and the stupid amphitheater is out in the middle of nowhere on a country road. Fortunately by the time we got there Maroon 5 had only been on for 10 minutes. Adam Levine was beautiful in a white t-shirt that by the time he was done was see through with sweat. They performed really well live and I was more that pleased. John Mayer was impressive. I'm not a huge fan, but he played all the songs that you wanted him to play, he improvised quite a bit and played three encores.

Throughout all of this me and L managed to have 4 beers on top of the 2 I had at her apartment before we left. Which would have been fine and good had I had any form of dinner but oh no. All on an empty stomach. When the concert was over we attempted to find the entrance at which L's boyfriend dropped us off. Couldn't find it. We wound up at one of the main entrances trying desperately to get through to his cell phone, which we found out later he had turned off. While we were waiting we wound up talking to these two little girls (12 or 13 I can't remember). They had come from KC just for the concert and had made t-shirts that said and I quote; " Oh I wish I were John Mayer's weiner, that is what I truly want to be, because if I were John Mayer's weiner I would have his hands all over me."
Now at thirteen I don't think that I would have thought this up nor would I have had the balls to wear this to a concert that my dad was driving me to. AND if I were those girls dad, I don't think I would have let my girls wear those shirts. This all made me feel very old and very drunk, so I let them use my cell phone to call there dad, told them not to do drugs and made sure they were picked up. L and I had a cigarette and went looking for her boyfriend who finally pulled up in the empty parking lot looking very put out.
By the time we made it back to her place and sent the bf to bed we were desperate for pizza and more smokes. I only smoke at concerts after having beer, I swear. We ordered two pizza's and managed to demolish most of it within 20 minutes. Needless to say my plans to get up and go work out at 9 the next morning did not happen.

I only have a 4 day week this week and for that I am very grateful. Now if the hurricane will bypass the gulf so that I can travel to Destin Fla without any problem I will be ecstatic.

As far as the VMA's go I agree completely with this post by uschickens.
